Advanced Joint Effectiveness Model

Acronym:  AJEM

AJEM helps assess ballistic weapon effectiveness against air, sea, and land targets. As a ballistic vulnerability tool, the model calculates the probability of target defeat given a threat impact or detonation. The outputs of AJEM can be the overall probability of target defeat for a given encounter or an estimate of the vulnerable area of a target for a given attack aspect (i.e., view angle). AJEM is generally used to evaluate rotorcraft compliance with vulnerability requirements and assess the effectiveness of new weapons against various systems.
