BlueMax7

Acronym:  BM

BM is an aircraft flight dynamics simulation capable of generating realistic time-space-position types of data.  It is a stand-alone application and is interfaced to external applications (e.g., SLATE and JAAM).  Version 7 methodology supports multiple classes of aircraft, including fixed-wing aircraft, unmanned air systems, rotary-wing aircraft, and fixed-wing aircraft with propellers.  BM may be used in constructive mode (faster than real time) with event-driven scripted maneuvers or as a real-time, operator-in-the-loop tool.  It is a pseudo-6-degree-of-freedom point-mass simulation.  BM uses installed propulsion data, trimmed aerodynamic data, flight control laws/limiters, and structural limit data.
