Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment

Acronym:  ITASE

ITASE is a Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC)-led simulation environment architecture, equally partnered and integrated with the National Air and Space Intelligence (NASIC), Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), and the Five Eyes (FVEY) communities.  It is capable of assembling through integration a variety of software models from different software applications (e.g., TMAP, AFSIM, NGTS, etc.) and connecting them with their representative command, control, communication, and computer (C4), thus creating an intelligence-based, authoritative, interoperable instantiation of the threats in a given integrated air defense region.  ITASE can also ingest any type of Blue route(s) or strike package flight information using an extensive toolset; and it can model engagements spanning most major domains of modern warfare, including land, air, sea, space, cyber, and the integrated kill webs that may be present across these domains.  It simulates the connections between threat systems within an integrated air defense system (IADS) and makes use of hundreds of existing models developed by the Intelligence community to reflect a range of different IADS solutions.  ITASE supports threat analysis, wargaming, training, mission planning, testing, and countermeasure (CM) development efforts.
