DSIAC is pleased to announce that the next Aircraft Combat Survivability Short Course will be held 2-4 June 2026 at at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT. This three-day short course in aircraft combat survivability is designed to provide an overview of the aircraft combat survivability discipline. The course is intended for U.S. Department of War (DoW), active-duty military, and government contractors who need to better understand how to increase the survivability and combat effectiveness of air platforms in manned and unmanned systems. Many students typically work in aircraft survivability fields such as susceptibility reduction and vulnerability reduction, survivability modeling and simulation (M&S), ballistic and vulnerability testing, and systems engineering. However, the course will also greatly benefit personnel working program management and acquisition of DoW aircraft, as well as military pilots and personnel in aviation commands.
